megaphoneWe are back from Orlando and had a great trip! Several awards were won at the Festival: Concert Band got a 2nd Place Gold, Jazz Band got a 1st Place Gold and Orchestra got a 1st Place Gold. The MLMS Music Program was awarded the Best Instrumental Program and 2 individual musicians were awarded the Maestro Awards; David McPhetres and Kiana Gates.



What We're All About

French Horn

Last year we sent the members of our Mirror Lake Middle School Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Orchestra to compete at the Heritage Festival in San Diego, California. With their hard work and sponsors' community support, they not only gave outstanding performances but also received high awards and accolades from the judges.


This year we would like to give our students the opportunity to perform at the Heritage Festival again. We expect to send nearly 100 students to compete and we have to pay for lodging, meals, and airfare. However, we do not have a budget and must depend on sponsors and our fundraising efforts to make this trip a success.

This website is a portal to the information needed by parents, potential sponsors, volunteers, students and everyone else that takes a part in this phenomenal opportunity for our children.
