What We're All About

French Horn

In Spring 2011, we sent the members of our Mirror Lake Middle School Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Orchestra to compete at the Heritage Festival in Anaheim, California. With their hard work, they not only gave outstanding performances but also received high awards and accolades from the judges. This would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors and local community.


We would like to give our students the opportunity to perform again at the 2012 Heritage Festival in Boston, Massachusetts. We expect to send nearly 100 students to compete and we must pay for lodging, meals, and airfare. Since we have no budget, we must depend on sponsors and our fundraising efforts to make this trip a success.

This website is a portal to the information needed by parents, potential sponsors, volunteers, students and everyone else that takes a part in this phenomenal opportunity for our young musicians.

Upcoming Meeting Dates
November 3, 2011: 1st payment of $150 and forms in packet due

December 5, 2011 at 7pm: Airline ticket payment of $675.70 ($690.90 if using a credit card) due to MLMS Booster Club. Also, please return the Traveler Information Form with your payment or confirmation number.

January 5, 2012 at 7pm: 2nd payment of $250 due and please complete the Medication Form and the Heritage Registration Form.

February 2, 2012: 3rd payment of $250 due, flight groups will be posted.

March 22, 2012: Mandatory Meeting for parents, students and chaperones. Final payment due (amount TBD depending on fundraising)
